I'll give arguments for both: Boracay because they have an infrastructure in it's infancy. That is, they have services available to the widest range of tourists, roads, transportation. But it's still young, it's not a mini concrete city, though it is getting there. Easy to go around to the other side of the island if you want to get away from the crowds.

Palawan is not as crowded as Boracay, though it's getting there, there is less infrastructure thus less resources, roads, transportation, bars, restaurants, essentially no crowds but less to choose from to enjoy your stay.

So what do you want? Privacy or good restaurants and meeting new people.

Palawan for me. Both places are havens but to me Palawan is my sanctuary. Everybody's going to Boracay so I guess I'll have a more peaceful vacation in Palawan, though it's also one of the most sought after places next to Boracay.

Palawan, more clean, fresh air, and the sceneries are so nice. People there are so friendly! Not like boracay, it's becoming ugly. Many says that the water there becoming dirty.

I'm not really fan of Boracay,maybe because I'm not a party goer and the island is known for that.So for me Palawan is better.

Palawan. There are more places to see in Palawan other than the Beach, but it is not fair to compare the two Islands.

Palawan has Calauit, Puerto Princesa, Coron, and other smaller Islets.

palawan is the best. you can do everything there.

palawan - less touristy than boracay and the waters are very clear. lots of secluded beaches too. it is a truer paradise in palawan

I haven't been to Palawan but i bet it's Palawan. Talk about virgin spots, amazing marine life, serene and clear waters.

What a great question!!!

I like them both. They are not the same. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Boracay is more party island. Palawan is perfect for chillin out after partyin like crazy.

Altogether its beautiful!!!

Palawan is 100 times better than Boracay, Boracay is beautiful but isnt even in the same league as Palawan. Boracay is one of the more beautiful places in the Philippines, but Palawan is one of the most beautiful in the world.....
