We've been in the situation that we didn't have electricity for almost a month and to tell you frankly I felt that the end of the world is nearing its end. This happened right after Typhoon Frank hit our province. You can feel the mild frantic activity of everybody. Candles are selling at its high prices. But people seem not to mind the price and they did not want one, not two but they want it all for their own consumption. And I'm telling you its not a good feeling.
The devastation left by typhoon frank traumatized the entire town that we can't sleep well at night and always on our toes, ready for possible re occurrence of that frightful day.
Just imagine how we moved on without electricity and water. Its scary.
And I don't want to go back to that again. Prayerfully not. |

To have no electricity, because if you have no electricity, you have no internet connection. |

No electricity, especially during the summer as it means no air-con or even a fan. No fridge too to cool my water and drinks (and nothing beats the summer heat than ice-cold water or cola).
Also, without electricity, if my laptop's battery is dead, I cannot charge it and it just follows that I would then have no Internet connection. |

No electricity. It means no internet connection, no air conditioning, food in the ref becomes warm, no TV, no light, and no everything that depends on it. |

Since I am home, I have experienced slow to non-existent internet connection which is actually frustrating and scary indeed - =). But it's a nightmare with no electricity. I forgot how hot and dark it can be in the Philippines. I'll gladly choose electricity over internet connection anytime. |

If you don't have electricity, You either don't have internet or you won't be able to charge your batteries on your computer. Besides, the food in your refrigerator will spoil. I'd rather be without internet. |

Ang pinaka-worst talaga would be to have no electricity, no internet connection, no phone, and no water! |

We survive before without internet i think we can survive still no internet nowadays, it's just that people are depending too much now in the internet like businesses, communications and etc..
No electricity is much worst billions of people will be affected specially the children at night but that can lessen the crime too. Everybody go home before dark. |

Both are bad in some respect. .
In the villages and barrios where there is no electricity, population growth multiplies exponentially.
When there is no internet, people typically find other things to do. Many among them will just sleep early-very likely population also rises as well. |

Definitely no electricity would be the worst. But if you don't have electricity than you can't have an internet connection... I do not have an internet connection at my home and I am perfectly fine! I do use the computer at work or at the library, but to not have it in your home is really not that big of a deal. But to have not electricity would be worse because then you have no lights and you are unable to plug in or use any electronics. Such as, microwave, regrigerator, heaters, air conditioner, dryer, vacuum, and the list goes on. |

To have no electricity for days. Major inconvenience really. With the smart cell phones now you can stay connected through other means. |

I'd give up the internet first (which I have) I'm using the library's internet at the moment. No electric for me means no heat, air conditioner. I'm in the south and it's already 70*F here, it will get in the 90's in another month. But more importantly, no water since I'm on a well. |

Both are bad.
But I can you what's worse, it's having no cellphone signal & having no cellphone.
You can live without the internet, you can live without electricity well at least for a short time. But once you cut both of them off, you will surely die if you have no workable cellphone.
And besides you can cook popcorn with your cellphone, call 911, start fires in gas stations, you can listen to the radio, even watch tv, a video or a movie, pay your bills, send & receive text/voice/data messages, call for help... etc. etc. |
