Which of these will generate more profit? |
Hair salon, restaurant, legal firm, private school, or cyber cafe?
Please take into account the flexibility of time as well. I don't prefer something that i have to dedicate all my life to. I need room for myself too.
How i want an easy money! Additional Details Private school= it will be a small one, just like tuition centre. Bukan mcm Sekolah Sri Cempaka tu =) |

I kinda like the legal firm. Do u mean you will collaborate with a group of lawyers and make it a law firm associate? If u are good at that, it might give lots of profits, don't you think so? Plus the good image it generates.
A hair salon/ beauty centre in one is also a sure-profit business, i think. Just look how women and metrosexual men go gaga nowadays trying to find the fountain of youth.
My 2 cents' worth. You have to consider too that we don't live in the same milieu so my suggestion might be off the mark.:) |

I'd go for the private school/tuition centre.
Parents these days are willing to pay for good education. I spend >RM2000 for my kids' enrichment classes every month! Teachers easily make 3x their pay giving tuition, whereas their school job is to help them get more students. Short hours, too depending what classes you are offering. Eg. some Kumon centres are open 4 days a week from 3pm to 9pm.
Hair salons are plenty, and I heard it's difficult to get shampoo girls.
Restaurant hours are too long. It's not just the hours you're open for business, what about the sourcing for ingredients, preparation, etc.
When my sis-in-law used to operate a cafe, my hubby who was helping her, had to wash the dishes and the toilet due to lack of workers!
Don't know much about legal firm and cyber cafes, except the the patrons to cyber cafes are mostly schoolkids with not much spending power.
Good luck in your venture! |

hello dear :)
good morning... actually there is alot of considerations to be taken into account... we won't know if these are profitable yet.. depends on your target market, marketing strategies, statistical research, your research on consumer behaviour, etc.... and how well you are able to 'break-even'... (break-even means your revenues has matched your inital capital & resources pumped into the business...or else there'll be losses) ... then you can talk about profit-making...
*PS - I think all these services are profitable in their own ways :)
*Peace* |

Hair Salon- Do people cut hair daily?
Restaurant - Food. People daily necessity
Legal firm- Great return but endless work plus time consuming
Private school - Do you like kids first of all?
Cyber Cafe - again, do you like kids first of all cuz your main customer here will be the school kids who will go mad when they start on those cyber games!
So?..
if i were you..i would definitely go for Restaurant as you can set your restaurant operational hours, guaranteed profit returns as people needs to eat daily, not too much of a headache unless you can't manage the whole thing. |

RESTAURANT !!
-- everyone needs food, everyday, everywhere.
You dont necessarily have to spend the whole day in the restaurant, initially may be but once it is set up, leave it running and controlled by someone you trust and wait to see your monthly balance... Good Luck and let all yammers know, with special discount or VIP card of course if you managed to open up one !! All The Best "Sexy Tummy" :)) |

Cyber Cafe. You can offer service at the same time such as food and drinks, also selling some animation, games and magazines at the same moment and repair shop... 2, 3, 4 or maybe 5 in 1.
The location: where you can find lot of students lalu lalang, for sure you'll untung. if you cant dedicate your 24hrs, its okay, hire someone that know computer more than you do.. |

I'd go for restaurant, cyber cafe and private school for the flexibility of time ! |

i used to think like u did. so i study successful businessmen stories. i read tons of business models, business books. and they all have 1 thing in common: "DONT DO THE BUSINESS JUST BCOZ IT SEEMS LUCRATIVE, DO IT BCOZ U LOVE TO DO IT"
so it all comes down to.....
whats ur hobby? (actually) |
