we don't have GMA here, but we do have TFC, so I have no choice but to watch Wowowee... but before, when I was still in the Philippines, I used to watch Eat Bulaga... |

My answer would be Eat Bulaga.
It has to do with the character of the hosts.
EB's are a good mix of stand ups too.
Willie is limited to his "80s street humor" but does a great job (so far) at holding back his green jokes.
(He should, after previously being suspended by MTRCB--not once but twice!)
Wowowee is "Kapwa Ko Mahal Ko" with scantily clad dancers. |

eat bulaga is boring and corny. jokes are old, people are old, set is old, im so sorry but the whole show looks old, and although i LOVE classics, i hate eat bulaga. corny. boring. hosts sputter and are "wanna beeeeeeees" there are too many hosts too and the games they play are so boring, no twists, no innovations, get my point? so old fashioned. nothing new, nothing funny, nothing INTERESTING. wowowee is better, i always laugh, but i dont LOVE neither. |

During the 80's, I actually prefer watching Lunch Date which is in channel 7 while Eat Bulaga is in Channel 2. Lunch Date (hosted by Randy Santiago, Keno, Chiqui Hollman Toni Rose Gayda) and was more entertaining and they have interesting games and portions. Eat Bulaga, by contrast, are masa-oriented and Tito, Vic and Joey basically relies on vulgar jokes and high-paying games. |
