They don't come around with a water truck? They should. After all if you get dehydrated and have to wind up in a hospital, you could sue the water company, and inside of ten years you might win the lawsuit.

Rationale:

if there is no water to clean myself, I will reek. â†’ If I stink, I will hold my breath. â†’ If I hold my breath, I will not get sufficient oxygen. â†’ If there is insufficient oxygen, I will die.

Anyway i'm sure there is a pool/ river/ pond/ tank/ stream near your home which has water.....unless you live in a desert.

Water is the most important. Humans survived for many thousands of years without electricity but would have perished without water.

Water is one of the basic requirements for life as we know it -- without it you are in trouble. If your water supply is not working, you need to go get bottled water until it is working again.

We had a bad windstorm where I live (Vancouver area of Canada) last fall, and we had no electricity for quite a few days. Fortunately, we had lots of water. We kept warm by putting on extra layers of clothing. We had food around the house that didn't require cooking or the use of ingredients that needed refrigeration -- always keep a good supply of things like granola bars around for emergency food.

A person needs water to survive, electricity has only been around for a comparatively short time in the scheme of the human race. Electricity is a convenience not a necessity.
