I had been to both places. Cebu is just like being in Manila! There are many beggars in the Philippines but I wont forget the beggars in Magellan's cross. Once you give to one child, all will follow you all throughout! I wont ever forget that it is too hot there in Cebu like Manila. Yes, I agree Plantation Bay is nice.
I would prefer better, balanced life= nature and shopping. There are more spaces to breath in Davao. I have heard that fireworks in Davao during New Year is just in one place. I salute your mayor! I think that should be followed by other places to avoid too much injury and fire during this season. |

I want to visit both places but if I am to choose, maybe I'd choose Davao because I want to feel Mindanao there. One more thing is that Davao has more trees and I think the air is better there. Visiting Cebu is the same as visiting Manila. |

I love Davao, it's a city packed into one. Both nature and being modern compliment to make it the most livable city in the country. Davao boast also as having the cleanest water source in Asia. |

Both. Those 2 places have very different things to offer. I've been to almost all the resorts in Cebu and I would have to say that they are all mesmerizing. The one that actually captivated me the first time I set foot on was Plantation Bay resort, I remember myself saying wow when I went inside. Davao has it's own natural resources to boast on. Durian... mmmm, I love durian. Mt. Apo, Eden Park, Pearl Farm are just a few of it's noteworthy to mention-tourist attractions. I love those 2 places, I have very fond memories of them :) |

Mabuhay! Both. Davao, boasts of Mt. Apo, the Philippines' highest peak, the majestic Philippine Eagle, the prized Waling-waling, delectable and delicious fruits---the best Durian, mangosteen, pomelo and banana, Samal island soothes the soul with its beach and thousand of white-lipped oysters that yield white, pink and gold pearls. While Cebu, is the Queen City of the South. With white sand beaches, rich in culture, religious & historical landmarks. ♥^-^♥ |
