Hi, in my own points of view, I would say working is easier than schooling...

working - its a responsibility while being paid.
schooling - its a responsibility while you have to pay.

working - gains more experience and maturity
schooling - still in the process to develop maturity and experience.

working - a working individual is more comfortable with the decision making with regards to significant situations, for he/she is actually matured enough to do so.
schooling - still lack of maturity, still need to be open to the elements of life, need supervisions by some elders or seniors.
And most importantly, I'm free from memorization and reviews when the examination comes.(lol)

Your question is not stupid. Education is the easiest way up and out.
Many people are in charge when they couldn't find their own butt with a flashlight. They have the paper they have the advantage.
Now is a good time to be training for the future today isn't that great for the job market.

Schooling - hands down. Why? School takes up between 10 to 18 years of your life. Working takes up from 20-40 years thereafter. Some people are not so blessed with finances to go to school so they skip it and go straight to work. So maybe 50 years of work? If you will look at the street urchins scavenging for garbage or begging in the street or selling cigarettes at intersections. They started work at an early age. They will do that till they are old and gray.

With that in mind, I am sure that you will find schooling easier than you think.

Schooling is easier than working.

School - all you have to do is wake up early, stay late if you have to for exams, get into class and on top of that you get holidays off and two months vacation plus weekends off and your parents take care of your expenses.

Work means you wake up early, drive yourself to work, kiss *sses (well, sometimes), slave around in office all year round with only a few days for vacation, stay late if you have to, make good decisions (because it could cost you money or your career), keep yourself ahead of your colleagues (meaning work on better ideas, and the courage to present and fight for them), keep up with a nasty boss (mine is nice though), pay your bills, keep track of your expenses.

Of course working has its perks but you have less worries when you are a student.

School is way easier than working - especially with the economy of the country today.

Schooling is easier but you are dependent to people who pay your tuition and allowance. If you wanted to be an employee then get good grades at school. Working is harder but what money you earned is yours with no preconditions attached and you use it to support your education with. Everybody (well almost) goes through it, School sucks but I ended up with 2 college degrees and an unfinished post graduate course just don't give up.

I am not sure.. I am school right now, and they are torturing us, without salary!

so I have to say WORKING - plus, I get to say that "I have a job"

while you are in school, you still don't know what awaits for you outside.. i mean, you could study nursing, then because of financial problems, just stop, then probably you'll end up as a cleaning lady or something.

SCHOOLING!!!

Not only life was easier then, I was richer even!=D

I will be going back to school soon. I'm kind of pressured on how to make my schedule work.

So there...=D

I like to go to school than working. If I do have the resources to support my basic needs, I would rather not to work(to earn money) and get back to school. Once you get used to your job you can get easily bored and your energy drops then eventually your productivity drops and your boss scolds you over and over. Whereas in school, learning is endless.

Schooling.

Your only worry in school is study and pass grades. Others are only cosmetic issues.

In work, there are many responsibilities and worries, such as: The boss. The work. Co-workers. Deadlines. Promotions (or none). 8 hours of work per day, sometimes longer. The commute. Chance of getting fired/laid-off. Difficulty in finding job. No job, no money.

If you cannot make it at school, chances are you cannot make it at real life at all, which is working. Unless of course you are those kind of people that are "maabilidad" and can start and grow your own enterprise/career from nothing.
