If I had only one choice I'd rather take the short straight path. It's safer and quicker. If I should take the long and winding road every day it'd become boring and routine also, so might as well be safe and quick. |

Before, I'd been a reckless driver in the highway of life, taking the short straight path at a speed that anything that slows me down or stands in the way gets thrown off the road.
Now, I've learned to slow down and take the long and winding road to appreciate not only the scenery but also to avoid missing the sense of where I'm going and why I'm going there. |

I prefer the "scenic route". Long and winding, instead of the rather boring straignt and narrow way.
Just like going up to Baguio. Would rather take Kennon than the safer but boring Marcos Hi-way. |

the long and winding road. i don't want to die young.
the only time i take the shorter route would be i have an urgent need to answer natures call. |

the long winding road for me because i love adventures!
sometimes though, life has its way of tossing circumstances and whatnot in our way that we have no choice but to swerve off our preferred path.
thus now i am taking the road less traveled. |

Would rather take the long and winding road- more interesting that way :-) |

I always asked myself why I haven't had a short and easy road in life, but when I look and count all the blessings i have
[small blessings like waking up everyday is great for me] then I can say although it's kinda hard but it's more challenging and at the end I'm happy. So I think I rather go in a long and winding road if it's what my heart's want and my happiness. |

I'm an adventurous dude. Now, i am already trailing a long, winding, rocky, dusty road. And i'm looking forward for a far more worse road than this one. I think i'm ready for anything. I should be. |

The long and winding road is what life is all about. If you're gonna take the short path, you might as well commit su1cide, existence would be pointless otherwise. |

if you want your life to be quiet, anonymous, and peaceful, better take the short straight path... if you want your life to be interesting, exciting, and adventurous, choose the long & winding road...
I'd prefer to be peaceful yet exciting... so I'd rather go in the long and winding straight path... |

I prefer the long and winding road. It can be more challenging.
I don't want to take short-cuts. I may end up being an empty nut-head. LOL |

It it gives me the same result at arriving at my life's destination, I would rather take the short straight path. The long and winding road is for the young who have the time and energy to do it but for me who is into the prime of life, I'd choose the short straight path - no stop-overs. |

Same as Kahlan's answer. I love adventures too. There are a lot of things I want to do but not all at once. I want to experience the journey. I'm not in a rush. |

It depends.
Some highways are nice and peaceful. I prefer to take the long and winding road when I drive on those highways.
As you know, we can also hit a bump in the road. I want to take the short, straight path when I hit that bump. |
