Hands down, TVXQ aka DBSK aka Dong Bang Shin Ki.

Their fanclub, Cassiopeia, has made it into the 2009 Guiness Book of World Records as the world's Biggest Official Fanclub. There are about 900,000 official fans, and there are even MORE unofficials (like me).

Many Korean groups are always forming...
so there's always a new popular group
But probably DBSK or Super Junior.
I think DBSK because they have one of the largest fan group.
but Big Bang is really popular recently...but DBSK has been around for a long time

theres alot but DBSK is like on their own level. not only in korea but japan, thailand, china basically all of asia. they even have the worlds largest fanclub, that says alot about them right? other popular boybands are Super Junior, Big Bang, SHINee, SS501, 2AM & 2PM.

I know for sure the most popular would be DBSK (TVXQ) ^.^
but there are many other boy bands that may be popular too. (but can't top DBSK)

Dong Bang Shin Gi is huge, but so is Super Junior. Epik High is also really popular (but I personally wouldn't consider them a boy band... more like a rapping group) and Big Bang is pretty big as well.

I personally didn't buy into the whole DBSK thing, but a lot (and I mean A LOT) of people did. Me, myself, I've always been a Super Junior girl.

(But really, I think the answer to your question is any group SM Entertainment comes out with. Like, SM owns both DBSK and SuJu and they have SHINee too [which is a new boy band] and they're all extremely popular.)

DBSK . by all means.
Shinhwa comes close, but not as close as DBSK.

DBSK has been absent of any activites in Korea for 1 year and 7 months(because of Japan debut , again very successful) and they still have the worlds largest fanbase - verified by the Guiness World Book of Records.
One picture of their new album is leaked and the fans go wild, the forums go crazy and well, obssessive fangirls try and dish out their new songs.

honestly, DBSK is, and im not even a DBSK fangirl LOL.
i believe they have around 800,000 fans.

uhhhh, wow. theres A LOT of famous boy bands, i dont really know which ones the most famous. im thinking epik high is one of them. also big bang, super junior, i guess..... if ou can, watch music bank. its a korean concert thing that happens every week, and the top bands perform. maybe you can watch it on youtube? im not sure.

well...for me it's super junior since they won the recent mtv asia awards as the best korean group in asia...DBSK today actually doesn't have any activity that much...and SUJU topped number 3 in the orion hit chart, which i think is the name of the most famous song countdown in japan,and it was just a span of weeks or a month but DBSK barely made it there after two years.
