Cant give a best place as philippines is all paradise to me. Most memorable was at Pangasinan at christmas, we gave a food bag to an old poor man and he went on his knees crying and thanking us. That old man made me realise that we westerners are very lucky people. |

3 times...twice in 2001 and once in 2003...only visited Manila and Mindanao...so no expert...I am a Canadian male...depends what you are looking for...I loved seeing the countryside from Davao to Butuan and then on to Cagayan de Oro City....so nice to see the real Filipinos and not all the fancy people in Manila!
Still, I loved the bar scene on Mabini Street.in Manila..it was like a fantasy for me.. and met some really nice people...and fun...
Met my true love in Cagayan de Oro and now she and I are together here in Canada...love at first sight and now happy after 4 years!

The best place I visited was Eastern Samar. It was peaceful and calm. The weather was perfect and there was no pollution or tourist stuff to ruin the natural beauty.
The most memorable experiences included meeting my former gf's family, especially the older grandmother who thought I was an angel and one who asked why I was speaking English. The kids that followed us around was memorable who all cheered when I hugged and kissed my gf on the beach. Swimming in the ocean there was memorable. Bathing there ouside in a fresh water was memorable. The food was amazing. The people were all so welcoming. Everything was amazing. |

I'm from the Philippines and my husband & I loves to travel. Every city we visit never fails to amaze us. There are so many places to explore plus there are so many nice people. We speak good English so if you're a foreigner you will not have difficulty getting around. My favorite so far - Palawan!! |

I was in the Philippines in February this year.
The most beautiful place I visited was the beaches at Panglao in Bohol. They also have other beautiful sites in Bohol. (Go see the Tarsier, world's smallest monkeys)
But my most memorable place and experience.. Tubigon, Bohol...when she said "Yes", she would marry me.. and her family agreed. |

The News says:
Philippines get least tourist now a days...
Because Philippines has a "Dengue" - It's a disease that can die, when it bite by the mosquito.
Now in philippines, 5000+ people die because of dengue.
Philippines have oilspill now and it spread all over the philippines ocean. if you take a swin you can cause skin cancer.
