Twice.
The first time I backpacked on my own, even got to go to a farming village where everyone laughed at the fact that I didn't know how to use the toilet (a hole in the ground.)
The second time I went on a cruise on the Yangtze, to visit the small villages and see temples and sites that were lost when the Dam was completed.
Next time I'd like to go to Dunhuang, the Taklamakan Desert and as much of the Silk Road as I can. |
