I'm not, personally I prefer Asian men. Some white men think Filipinas would worship them so some of them don't even bother to make themselves look decent. At times it's worse to a point some of us call them pigs. This is a fact dahling not sarcasm.

- The grass is always greener on the other side.
- The motherly instinct of ensuring a healthy or beautiful child (the misconception that whiter is prettier)
- The misconception that all white men are rich, mixed with the dire poverty affecting the nation, Filipino women would marry white men for an assumed security.
- Curiosity
- Some people are just attracted to something different
- Some people are just attracted to something exotic (to her, you're exotic; to you, she's exotic)
- Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. Take your pic.

I think that using the word worship in this context gives out the wrong signal. It would have been better to use likes or loves.
Some, not all, Filipina's are attracted to men of different race and/or colour basically for the same reason you were attracted to her.

she should love you, not worship you. i'm a filipina married to a white man. i didn't go out and searched specifically for white men. heck, i didn't go out and searched for anyone at all. i've dated other men from other races before and i just happened to find the right soul in a white man's body.

i have had pinay friends in the past who would try to get me to find them a white man. they would specifically ask for the blond hair and blue eyes. i think the answer to your question is, the same as why some white men are attracted to filipina women. they have different physical features but both are beautiful to the other's eyes.

Oh my gawd, the people saying that it's only because of the bank acount or whatever shallow lame reason, you're all stupid. I'm a filipina myself and i don't think that, not all filipinas like white men and for all you know they're just SIMPLY attracted to the person and not their skin color OR thier bank acount.

i think its the other way around. as a woman, i do not approach white man to get notice- they do the first move therefore i attract them more than me being attracted to them. its a plus factor if the feelings is mutual. however, it applies to whatever color it is. (pardon the word "color")

I spent about $2.8M into the Philippines in 2006 and a little bit more by the end of this year, by way of programs and projects in education and healthcare. i indeed do work for those noble causes. it doesn't make me noble--but it sure feels good. you should try it sometime.

They aren't attracted to white men, Heck, They'll go with Japanese, Arabian, Korean, Chinese and even Filipinos. It's not about being white or not, It's all about the bank account.
