then you should make it clear to her that you prefer to stay single. she is getting the wrong message from you. the clingy thing is not good it means that she wants you and she wants you bad. if you are not used to that it can be very irritating at times. but from your question it should be that you 2 are going steady, that is why she is behaving the way she is.
you should talk to her or break up with her.

Not all Filipinas are clingy. You may have promised her something or maybe slept with her. If you did, there you go.... those are the reasons why she's clinging to you. If you must know, Filipino culture does not allow sex before marriage. Though this happens nowadays, still, most Filipinas don't sleep with a guy if they have no understanding or they're not in a relationship. I guess you weren't clear with hear from the onset. If you were, I'm sure she wouldn't have gone out with you.

Filipinos are very soft hearted people mostly. If you enjoy spending time with Filipinas, you must take care of their feelings. Their idea of dating is not that of American women, which is large part of the reason you see so many American men marrying Filipinas. filipinos are basically friendly, if we like you then we tend to be a bit as you call it "clingy" but in actuality its just our way of saying that we like you and that we want to be your friend or just plainly we want to be someone special to you, you see we filipinos really put a good meaning to this date things. its not like with some culture that its there way of having fun. for buggs to me that a stupid remark, do you think that we filipinos are that poor? shame on you, even if as you say that we are poor but we are rich in values which is more i can say about you!!!
