You can put the question the other way around also: why so many pinays don't marry pinoy?
I life in manila but never have seen a pinay who wasn't already unvirginized by pinoy. Still they didn't marry the guy.
I also see many pinay who need to work in bars for their child because the pinoy who pregnant her run away. utang na lo-ob seems to be known only with the pinay not the pinoy i guess.
Why 4reigner girls should marry such man either? |

What do you think is the reason we find mostly women frequenting the internet cafe chatting with foreigner men? And Pinays also seem to frequent the places where foreigners converged. I wonder if there is any better reason to be in those places than anywhere else. I just wonder. |

Don't look at the other side of the coin but the fact about Pinoys and Pinays.
If a foreigner want to marry a Pinay, much more of the Pinoy wish to marry a Pinay.
Pinoys overseas, have more foreign girls in their lives than they have Pinays but they don't show openly not because they are inferior. They don't want to marry them, why? Bec they love to have a Pinay.
How a foreigner got in touch of a Pinay? Sad fact but they meet them in bars, karaoke, or online dating. Less those Pinays, it should have been 1:1 between a Pinoy and a Pinay against a foreign partner. Have you ever seen an executive Pinay roaming around with a white or a black guy? |

Pinoy folks are just more choosy than their female counterparts. We Pinays are just more drawn to better security, perhaps believing that we are getting a ticket to the land of milk and honey when we marry a foreigner.
We immediately think we are freed of patis and panucha. |

I think Pinoy men are intimidated by foreign women, especially the caucasian ones. They won't admit it but subconciously, they feel insecure that these women will cheat on them or will replace them with someone better, richer, better looking. I have some guy friends who looks at caucasian women but would comment that they look like porn stars, no offense meant, but thats true, maybe because they've been watching too much smut.
On the other hand, I am Filipina but I absolutely still feel more attracted to Pinoys and Chinese looking guys and would still want to settle down with a Pinoy guy. |

Filipino men are quite handsome so I am not sure why more women don't go there to get married. Perhaps they have heard some bad stories about being unfaithful or having other bad habits..... |

Filipinos should support Belo clinics more. Or, undergo Gamma ray bombardments more, to produce the likes of yours truly, a green hulk beloved by the girls.
On second thought, forget about the gamma rays. It takes superior gene structure to survive this. |

Because of Colonial Mentality.
Filipinas believe that marrying a foreigner would result to having a higher status in life: 1) A Caucasian-looking husband is what many, if not most Filipino women dream of because of over a century exposure to Hollywood and American colonization, 2) Having Caucasian-looking children would automatically gain favor from friends (They can be actors and actresses, which is the trend nowadays, and besides, they look a lot more "soci", as one Filipina puts it, as compared to the "brown skinned" kids she would be having if she settled down with a Filipino - and besides, an Amerasian Filipino kid almost always looks completely White), 3) And lastly, having a Caucasian husband would result to living the good life - migrating to the United States, having the economic and finanial resources, and bragging rights.
Filipino men, because of Colonial Mentality, believe that they are inferior to the foreign women, particularly Caucasian ones, so they do not even "attempt" to woo one. Also, they are afraid to ask one out because they will think that they (the women) might dump them in the future.
According to one study I conducted, a lot of, if not most, Filipinos dream of looking Caucasian at least once in their lives. Of course, Filipino men sometimes look different. Of Filipino men who do marry foreign women, it is usually the Caucasian-Filipinos (Eurasian, Amerasian, Mestizo) or the Chinese-Filipinos.
I have interviewed some Filipinas why they want foreign men, and an upper-class Spanish-Filipino told me that "whatever happens, she's not going to marry a Filipino guy" because she wants "somebody who is individualistic, and not someone who expects to be 'babied' or to be treated as a child". Well, Filipinos, especially those of the lower economic status, tend to expect a "housewife wife".
Today though, it is not that bad (the ratio), as I've been seeing a lot of Filipino men with foreign (Caucasian and East Asian) women, as well as with the more usual Filipino woman-Caucasian / East Asian male partner. |

You know, its like that in the Philippines, here in Sweden most pinoys have swedish girlfriends. Of course the rate here is 10 pinays to 1 pinoy, but still. |

It is very simple reason, only those Filipinas who are disperate, uneducated(has no place for employment in Phil.), from unwealthy family/clan meaning insecured woman for something which her neighbor has, ambitious, unworthy Filipina / has no dignity......etc...a rejected Filipina in Phil community. |

Because most of Pinoy men are fat, lazy, likes to do sex all the time, lousy and no obvious direction in their careers. They left all the decision making to their wives. in short, weak in character compared to foreign men. |

maybe coz of male pride. it happens everywhere, it's the girls that are taken away. while the men try to preserve their race by marrying their native women and not foreigners. just my opinion. |

I am married to my American husband because I love him,I am attractive to him the first time I saw him.
well...some Filipino married foreigners just to get out to our country.I wont blame them you know,Phil's is not a safe place to live anymore.I can't imagine raising my kids in Philippines. |

I would say that yes, women of Asian descent are more desirable among white/black/hispanic men. Lots of white guys find asian women attractive, but I think fewer white girls are attracted to asian men. |

Pinays marry foreigners for money(have you seen them), and most of the time they marry the"undesirables". and the rest of the foreigners who arent interested in women molest kids in 3rd world countries. Look at interpol and unicef. |
