the one at my school is female. and the one in the middle school is female. but the band directors are men.

actually, the other day in my music class we were talking about orchestra conductors and that stuff, and we my teacher said that now that actually have some female orchestra conductors, but there are very few.

Actually, there are -- but not very many of them. The Akron Symphony Orchestra had a female conductor for a few years (she moved on to another orchestra). Admittedly, this may not be the best example, because her appointment was controversial, to say the least.

Probably because the Men don't allow the women to train in that art !. I have never known any woman incapable of matching the best that men can do plus an ability to perfom miracles...................................
