Because love sees no reason. Whether a woman is beautiful or not, intelligent or not, when she falls in love all logic flies off from her mind - the heart takes over.

I've read from somewhere, just can't remember the site, that by study, a lot of men and women who are entirely too focused on their careers sometimes have a difficulty balancing their emotions, and tend to have a decrease in their natural EQ (emotional quotient). It's just that this problem tends to have a bigger impact on girls, because girls are big on analysis... we tend to delve into things that actually should be taken at face value, and thus have this tendency to over-stress ourselves.

Same deal with love. A woman who has a very deep relationship with their careers have this tendency for an imbalance, and thus, have a more difficult time analyzing their men. And men, whether you agree or not, can be difficult to understand... same way you men think women are difficult to comprehend. ^_^

As for the beautiful women who are stupid in love, it is believed to stem from the fact that a beautfiful woman, especially the more narcissistic of the lot, have this notion that their beauty will get them what they want. And when they lose a man, it tends to be hard on them. ^_^

But these are just theories. ^_^

Because they are intelligent they tend to care more about being logical than being emotional. Being beautiful is a mirit given from God and it has nothing to do with either intelligence or stupidity.

How an intelligent woman turns out to be stupid just because she fell in love? Are you suggesting only none good looking women suppose to fall in love?
Love goes both ways, for men and woman alike, and am wondering why you are not asking the same question using the opposite sex?

i agree with you that there are some beautiful and intelligent women who are bad in love simply because they care only about them selves and think only about their needs their selfishness made them looser despite their intelligence
