You've posted 6 questions (and their answers). I don't think it’s with the intention to learn, but to challenge. Y! Answers is not the right place, but anyway, I'll answer whatever the time permits.

The Quran is the MAIN Islamic authority, but there are other books of reference that are not as important as the Quran, the books of Hadith.

False. During the life of the Prophet, the Quran was written by his followers, and there was no necessity to compile it in one book. It was during the time of Abu Bakr (just about 1 year after the Prophet's death) that the Quran was compiled in one book and conserved with Hafsa, the Prophet's wife.
The Quran has always been conserved both orally and in writing. This double security has always protected it from change, since the Prophet's days. It was also revealed in 7 accents of the most important Arab tribes. Uthman formed a committee headed by Zayd, to make a full revision of the existing copy of the Quran, to make sure that it was all authentic, and to write it in a way that tolerates ALL the 7 recitations of the Quran, which is a miraculous great work by itself.

False. Zayd was the head of a COMMITTEE of a number of the Prophet's companions who, all of them, had memorized the whole Quran by heart. The work was done when the majority of the other Prophet's companions were present, and they approved the work of Zayd.

In fact, written Arabic existed LONG before Islam. There are many archaeological evidences. Today there is at least one letter or more sent to kings during the Prophet Muhammad's time.

Don't cite sources of people who don't even know Arabic, please, especially when you are talking about written Arabic. Britannica or Columbia encyclopedias are not an authority on Islam. Also that site quotes "N.J. Dawood"'s translation of the Quran. For everyone's info, Nessim Joseph Dawood was a Jewish Iraqi and with due respect his translation was criticized for so many inaccuracies, it must be due to one of two things: His ignorance of Arabic, or deliberate and intentional deformation. Both ways he is not a trusted authority.

Many Prophet's have had their miraculous experiences in different circumstances. Does that make them any less authentic? Furthermore, Muslims do believe that Jesus was a Prophet and that his miracles were true. They even believe in miracles that are not mentioned in today's Bible, like when he talked as a baby (maybe it's because he said that he was a servant and a Prophet of God).
Prophet Muhammad's experience in the cave goes hand in hand with all the events of his life, there is no contradiction. What would you say about the experience of Paul who called himself Apostle? He was an enemy of the Christians and all of a sudden, claimed he saw Jesus and supposedly changed 180 degrees. Could it be that he actually did it in order to destroy Christianity from inside? Taking into consideration that he changed many things that Jesus didn't change, like abandoning the Jewish Law, for example.

In fact, the Quran teaches Muslims to research and investigate about everything. That's why they've had so many advances in Science and all other aspects of life. What would you say about the Christians who for centuries had to read the Bible in Latin (a language almost only priests understood). Even today, when my Christian friends ask about things in their faith, the usual answer is "read the bible, and you will understand”. Doesn't that sound evasive? My wife, who is a convert Muslim, challenged a priest to explain to her the trinity and his answer was that he himself did not understand it.

Actually the Quran teaches that we should respect all Prophets, including Jesus. For Muslims, Muhammad is dearer to them than the remaining Prophets simply because he is their teacher. It doesn't mean that other Prophets are bad. But if you want to see the difference between them, then just look at this:
Muhammad, since the first day, declared that he was a Prophet to all humanity, and had followers who were not Arabs.
Jesus declared that he was a Prophet to the Jews and all his life did not preach among non Jews (it was actually Paul who started this)
Muhammad lived to see the spread of his faith and in the Farewell Pilgrimage he was accompanied by about 100,000 Muslims.
Jesus died before seeing the spread of his faith. (according to the Christians)
Muhammad was a religious leader, statesman, merchant, husband and a father, among other things, and hence was able to experience normal life and give good advice about it.
Jesus was only a religious leader, so for many of today's people it's difficult to identify themselves with his example and learn from his life situations.

Yes he did have miracles. You need to learn from Islamic sources, not from cheap web sites.

Adam had a more miraculous "birth" than Jesus (no father no mother). So does that make him greater? Is that your criterion for greatness?

Many Prophet died an unnatural death. Even according to the Christians today, Jesus died crucified with two thieves. According to their bible, a person who is crucified is CURSED (I don't believe that Jesus was crucified). So which death is a more respectable? A man who died as a leader of a nation of thousands of people, in his top of power and popularity, or a man who died on the cross with 2 thieves?

These words only reflect the nature of who wrote them. But from a scientific and serious approach: A normal body is discomposed in a short time, not 14 centuries. Muslims believe that the bodies of all the Prophets are still preserved in their original status and that the earth does not cause decay of their bodies. Nowadays, the decay happens in the brains and manners of some people.

This is False. "Allah" is the name of God in Arabic. Even Arab Christians always have called God "Allah" in their language, so does it mean that the Christian Arabs during the time of Prophet Muhammad were worshiping the "moon god"? That's news for my Christian Arab friends today!
You might wish to ponder about the many "trinities" that have existed before Christianity, and how today's Christianity has imported a lot of the beliefs of these pagan religions, so that they made of Jesus "God"!

Where did you get this nonsense? No, actually Muhammad was and is believed because everything in his life pointed that he never told a lie, and because the Quran has proved to be a miracle that no Arab could imitate or challenge, it told about future events and about unknown scientific facts in its time, and for a dozen more reasons.
Yes it is a religion, much more convincing than a religion where nobody can explain its main belief (the trinity), and where many of today's followers do not actually believe in the claim that Jesus is God, and more of them do not follow any of his teachings.

False. Islam caused the advance of the whole world not only Muslims. Almost all today's scientific knowledge, and a lot of it's human values, laws, etc come from Islam. It was only when Muslims abandoned their faith that they lost this advantage. On the contrary, it was only when Europe ABANDONED Christianity that it could advance.

False. Non-Muslim minorities in Muslim countries survived for 14 centuries. Compare with Spain when it was taken over by the Catholics: All Muslims and Jews had to convert, leave, or be killed.

There is no such hadith book as Ishaq. All Hadith books prove that Muhammad was a real prophet.
