Although they are birds yet they have different feathers, when you pour water on the ducks they just fall of without wetting them. Ducks has webbed feet and love cruising along the ponds (water) unlike the hen/rooster who loves to stay on land minding their own business. |

Well ducks have webbed feet. Chickens don't.
I'm pretty sure ducks also have a waterproof seal thing on their feathers so they don't get water-logged and sink. Chickens don't.
