Why cant we eat or use handphones while driving but allowed to smoke?

This can only explain one thing: The authorities which made that a law do not understand or know what they are doing. They do not consider the consequences and the "what if " situations.

The argument is....you're not distracted because you're talking to someone else...but then you can talk to your passenger can't you?

Alot of laws don't make sense.

Did you know it's legal if you're English to shoot a Scotsmen if he has a bow and arrow with him? I am serious.

because the lawmakers don't have a handphone and they don't eat much because on a diet, but they are heavy smokers though..

Because everyone likes to pick on smokers.
They pay a lot more taxes than a non smoker too.
Drinking and driving is against the law, but so many are killed by them every year.

bcoz hphone can distract ur attention while driving but smoking can give u pay more attention if u r tired in driving.(i ain't a smoker).

In using headphones :

- you won't hear the horns beeping on you, if someone calls you, or if cops calls you.

In eating

-you'll be more focused on eating rather than driving..

Smoking

-it's more easy to drive while smoking, you can smoke without looking at the cigarette, you can light it without looking.

because you need to be able to hear your surroundings, and you can't do that with headpones on.

It's supposed to not only distract you, but it can block out noises from the road....
It really does distract you,I have to admit that, but what I do is just turn it up all the way and rest the ear phones around my neck :D
lol I do that, need to just burn some CDs though.
