They can fly but not too high because they are heavy.

indeed chicken CAN fly. they just dont fly high or long enough like other birds do. try chasing and cornering your chicken towards the wall and see what he does. you will be surprised

in fact it can fly but not very high bcoz of too many fat which makes its body too heavy to fly high.have u heard of wild chicken(from forest,called ayam hutan?)which can fly very high n fast.

Chicken can fly short distance. Their wings are comparatively short when compared to full flighted birds, so they cannot fly long distance. I am sure you have seen them flap their way to the top of tree branches.

There is something special about the flying chicken.. Among the chickens you see there is few can fly.. Because of they only know how to fly up and don't how to come down, so now those flying chicken still flying and floating in the space.. thats why you never see flying chicken..
