Maybe you had experienced something stolen from you when you sent a mail or balikbayan box. In the Philippines, I heard they are stealing and opening boxes that comes from abroad. Therefore, it's convenient to get easy money and good stuff and never mind the low wages. Also, lots of bribery. You can trust Fedex and UPS.... they are reliable. Next time, send your money through Western Union or use a bank transfer. Filipinos: let's be open-minded.

most Filipinos are in the medical field. atleast the people i know and am around with.... you are very close minded, you only see the filipinos in the post office, you don't notice that there are mexicans, caucasians and every other race working at the post office.

also, maybe, the one you think is a filipino, is actually a mexican!tricky, tricky.... you can't help that by nature, filipinos and mexicans may look a like. you can't try to define one race from another, when at some point in history, they were being ruled by one common nation. so in reference to your other question, filipinos are not trying to be mexican. filipinos and mexicans are each being themselves,it's just that they've been influenced by a common nation

People in the post office in America don't screw with your mail like in Philippines. Also, postal workers income in USA is far above the average. Its really not a bad job to have. I wish I could get hired at the post office instead of working for a living.
