It's not only Koreans...
many feel so insecure with Filipinos..
they call us any names....
but they maybe dunno know is that...
Filipinos are talented...God-fearing...luv their family ( to the extent of sacrificing themselves to work overseas just to provide w/ their family)...loyal...flexible ppl (u can meet Filipinos all over the world)..
yes we're proud of the doctor,nurse,artist,engineer,lawyer,scie... to name the few professional that we have...
but also wer equally proud to our domestic helper,skilled worker,caregiver,entertainer,cooks,seama... for w/o them some of our professional won't be produce....

we may not have the best government in the world,but we are the hard-working ppl here on earth...

yah a tend to be boastful sometimes...but we know how to enjoy the fruits of our labor....

fear not..Filipinos are the best person u could talk to whoever u R.

I agree with you. During the last two years here in a korean school, I've seen that discrimination everytime. My korean boss got angry at me w/o no apparent reason, yes guys im so fu***ng pissed off. Yes they give us jobs and they give us money but it's no fu***ng right to treat us like we're fu***ng slaves. I dont respect them anymore!

first of all, don't generalize. not all koreans discriminate filipinos. there are some though but it is in the human nature. i knew some koreans but they don't think us as a smaller race. those who discriminates only shows insecurity and ignorance.

I didn't know about this, but it's stupid. It must be lack of knowledge, as I think most discrimmination is. I would be curious to know if this was something you heard if you experienced this yourself ?

Here in Singapore there are quite a few Filipino's and they do a lot of good work. They are hardworking and friendly people. I think most people appreciate this.

Do they? I haven't noticed. If that is so, then why do a lot of Koreans flock to the Philippines? And vice versa. I think the Philippines and Korea have a mutual interaction between themselves. I don't see any discrimination.

In my opinion, nationalities discriminate other nationalities because these people are so INSECURE about themselves that they dicriminate other people because they think that the "others"are more beautiful, intelligent , talented (to name a few) compared to them. Why do Filipinos discriminate other races? Whatever. Every race discriminates something, no matter how poor they are. Every person discriminates someone, no matter how ugly, how poor, how dull, they are; no matter how pretty, how rich, how smart, how nice, they are.

i definitely agree with yey.. by d way im half chinese ang half filipina.........ive been in both countries (taiwan and philippines)....i realized that love to be a filipina more coz filipina is more flexible, family oriented and friendly than a chinese!! period ......WAG NANG HIHIRIT pa!!

I thought it was the other way around. Filipinos are some of the most racist people too, just ask blacks and whites.

Filipinos discriminate Chinese, Koreans, blacks, and white in the Philippines.
