"Wheather" is right.
Every country has nice people and evil people,so is China.China is not perfect,either.And sometimes foreigner complain about chinese people just because they have some culture shock.

But the most evil ppl in the world is some ignorant clowns who intend to distort the truth or provoke the confrontation between people from different cultural background.

So ,to "han" &"chinese"&"C",shup your nasty mouth up!

I remember you, you asked similar racist questions before in this community and told us that you hated your Chinese classmates in Philippines, why are you so jealous about your Chinese classmates? Because they work harder and get higher grades than you do?

You cannot make people hate Chinese by asking this kind of questions here, move on and be a happy person!

A lot has to do with their government.

People hate the Chinese government so it spills over to the people and ends up becoming bigoted.

What most people don't seem to understand, what the Chinese government in the past 5,000 years was repressive, to sometimes downright inhuman. But that has changed in the last few decades and while they are not on par with the freedoms of the west, nevertheless, what China has now is miles away better then anytime in their past and they are continually moving in a positive direction. We should give them a lot of credit for that, instead of constantly demanding instant change and bashing them and their government while continually bringing up the past which has little or no baring on the present.

I live here as an ex pat from the USA and I find the Chinese people are some of the best on the earth. They are friendly, hard working, optimistic, gracious, positive, and value friends and family above anything else. They are considerably less selfish then many in the states. That probably stems from that they didn't have much in the past to what they have now is a million times better. Makes them pretty damned grateful and proud to be Chinese.

Some people consider them rude and dirty. That is more of the Ugly Americanism, comparing an apple with an orange. China is not better or worse then the USA, we are only different. Sure they have some habits I don't care for, but who the hell am I to tell them it is wrong? This is their country, not mine and I would not tell them that to spit fish bones out onto the table is rude, -- I've learned to roll with those punches by doing it myself.

oh - I had no idea - I thought it was an ancient and revered culture - noted for ts wisdom -- if there is any animosity toward China that I have heard it is for their occupation of Tibet - but even that seems in the past.. -

Well, gee, packa, you're the only one around here who does. Clue us in. . .who else? Isn't hating Chinese people as a whole very much racist? Is it possible for such a large group to have no redeeming features? Even Las Vegas would give better odds than you do!!!

Becayse they put formaline in their food products and they make stuff with inferior quality and the things usually has lead and they even put it in baby toys!!!:(

They just want to put food on the table and have no qualms about taking shortcuts and doing illegal things to feed the family. For those who migrate to other countries, they just work hard and may seem materialistic but hard work is in their blood so the locals get suspicious and envy the wealth they accumulate but let's be honest, they earn it fair and square. They may not be the courteous people on earth but you can't help but admire their tenacity.

I think it has to do with the negative way China has been pictured recently, with all the recalls, Communist blunders and the way people are constantly making China the butt of some jokes. For example, Time Magazine has published some quotes from Chinese officials that even I, a Chinese American, find laughable.
If you ever took history, there have been massacres where angry American workers have killed Chinese immigrants. It can be because many workers are losing their jobs to Chinese counterparts willing to work for lower wages.
It's simply because as much as we try to combat it, people are still racially biased at times and don't accept other cultures very well.
It's pitiful how often unfairly and unreasonably people will judge others.

Your question is like asking, do you still beat your wife? I don't think that so many people dislike Chinese people.

There are plenty of ignorant bigots and racists that dislike anyone who is not from their culture or race. Maybe the better question should have been why are there so many ignorant bigots and racists?
