Due to lack of preparation. As soon as applicants encounter a question they could not handle adequately, they might try to bluff their way out of the situation. This could make matters worse because they are now out of their comfort zone, they entertain doubts enough to lose their confidence and they panic. Thus, not being prepared could be a big reason for nervousness during job interviews.
Inspite of readiness, however, some might still encounter a bit of trepidation even before the start of the interview, due to uncertainties, since this is not an everyday event for most of us. |

It's the pressure of thinking thatif you say or do the wrong thing you might blow your chance to have a really good job. |

i think it's natural for humans as it is the number one phobia, "stage fright" as not all people face that in their daily life.
another is people usually want to get the job so they tried hard to impress and not just express their thoughts. |

Its a hard one, I would go with the fact that for some it is not natural, you are trying to make yourself out as perfect, and right for the job. Formal eye contact firm handshakes cooperate bullshit. The fear of saying the wrong thing or not presenting yourself correctly can make people very nervous, your also doing all of this in front of a complete stranger who is probably as nervous as you or just doesnt even care about who or what you are. |

Thats easy! We want the job and if we do or say something that we feel isn't just right, then we are a nervous wreck thinking we messed up. It;s the authority figure that's interviewing us that makes us feel inferior. We have to try and remember that this is just another human being like us in everyway. And if for some reason the interview didnt go as planned then maybe this wasn't the right job in the first place!! |

cause they dont know how to be themselves, and they want to see if they can read the person that is interviewing them and get on their level.....but with me im a people person, and i think that if you can get along with just about anyone, you dont have to be nervous around anyone to be like them or try to impress them............. |
