Why do things go wrong when everything's almost perfect?

Probably because there's no such thing as perfection. When one problem gets cleared, another becomes more apparent simply because it gets put more in focus when you don't have another thing to worry about. There will always be little nagging problems, and even when things are almost perfect you can always find something else to worry about, I guarantee it. So if you ever get a moment when things seem perfect, enjoy it and try not to think too much, because those moments don't come often. The world is always changing, and something will go wrong all the time.

Tell a story? Why not? We were in a suite in Hyatt Regency, a beautiful view of Manila Bay, Christmas Party of the office, and I was in the table with this girl who asked the same question you're asking. She was my crush and an office mate. But she loved a medical student, from a well known family, and I was just a poor clerk and I was there just becuz she asked me to sit with her, and not to go and dance with the others. She did not want the news she danced with other men to reach her boy friend. So, I stayed with her. She was telling me they went to this beautiful place, met the guy's folks, how big was their palatial house, and she was so disappointed the day was ending and they had to separate, becuz she had to attend this crazy party. This party ruins her perfect day! Well, if it did, having her there in front of me, just made my day perfect. So, everything happens for a reason.

i agree, because nothing in life is perfect. you cannot have it all. that is how life is designed, and if it weren't for those things that make the world less than perfect, every day will be boring dontcha think?

because nothing is perfect. the only constant thing is changes so whatever makes you happy, you should always be protective of it cause it does not always stay forever.

You get caught up in everything that is perfect and something that may have seemed small before everything was going perfect seems so big! So it now seems like your whole life is just falling apart. Don't worry about it, I'm sure everything is going to be ok.

Because nobody deserves a "perfect" life when everything goes your way. We are all flawed to some degree and are unworthy. We can come close though--if we work hard enough and are focused.

Conversely, nobody deserves a completely messed-up life either.

Having said that, a lot of people in the country live pretty close to a completely disadvantaged existence brought on by severe poverty and extreme lack of opportunities for advancement. They get sick and their kids die of easily curable diseases. By definition they are being subjected to events that they really do not deserve.

Be grateful for what you do have and don't be petty.
