I have too many ideas for this.... demo sonna ni jikan ga nai kara... toriaezu:

Going to the park for hanami, sitting on a big blanket with my Japanese friends and watching the cherry blossoms fall...

Going to the onsen (hot spring) in winter, sitting in the hot spring outside while snow floats down and lands on my head, while drinking hot sake... Subarashii!!!

Going to a karaoke box that has a nomihoudai special... 1000 yen all-you-can-drink, singing my favorite Japanese songs with my friends...

Watching the first sunrise of the new year from the top of Mt. Fuji... but I never saw it because it was always cloudy... still a lot of fun...

Really nice and friendly people, especially in Kansai and Kyushu.

Going out to the discos in Shibuya or Shinjuku or Roppongi... coming home at 3:00 am and going to Yoshinoya for some beef bowl...

Hanging out in Harajuku on Sunday afternoon...

Going into McDonalds during a busy lunch time and having all the staff bow and welcome me with "Irasshaimase!"...

Eating takoyaki from a street vendor in Osaka... "Maido!"... Eating ramen in Hachioji... Eating okonomiyaki in Hiroshima....

Cute Japanese ladies handing out packets of tissue in the stations...

Cute Japanese ladies everywhere... doki doki...

Going to Asakusa temple after New Years...

Japanese TV dramas...

Wearing a (too small) yukata and walking around town during the summer festivals... Fireworks and cotton candy and playing that goldfish catching game at the matsuri....

Kaiten-zushi...

Buying a one liter can of beer from a vending machine in the middle of the night...

And of course the fascinating culture, history, and art...

Anyway, my hands are tired from typing, but there's a lot more ....tsukareta....

They cherish quiet. They are very clean people. The women are totally beautiful and sweet. The are a high classed, refined, and polite people. The food in Japan is great and very high quality. the products that they make are very high quality. They are proud and dignified but not arrogant. Their children are CUTE. Their mass transit system is clean, efficient and comprehensive. They have a love of nature. They are, in certain ways, open minded. They work hard and won't steal.

I am not saying there are not exceptions to any of this but if you ask me why I love them, I will tell you this.

Because I got lots of unforgettable sweet memories in Japan. Also I have lots of friends in Japan who I miss them so much. Japanese treat everyone pretty well. I admired them the most for the politeness and their hospitality. I even saw kid walking alone on the street. This shows me Japan is definately a very safe place. I also like their cultural, language, technology and their music industry. It is pretty clean in Japan. I couldn't find anyone in the city simply throw the rubbish as they like. All the rubbish was threw into dustbin and some to be recycle. When I need some help, they are so willing to help me get through my problem. What a Cool country!

I started to read Japanese comics since I was around 7 and as I'm from Hong Kong, we watched a lot of Japanese TV dramas and animations. Japanese culture - filled up my childhood & teen then I went to Tokyo for college, worked in a Japanese company for 5 years, Japanese paid for my living and I gained valuable experiences and met a lot of good friends.

I'm now working in different field but I still read Japanese comics, magazines & novels and I have more than 1000 comics books storing in my grandpa's apartment and have about 200 here in my room. I like Japanese food, Japanese songs and I think kimono is one of the most beautiful traditional custumes for ladies!

Even the Japanese men look cool in their traditional custumes, with their tummy sticking out (those without tummy don't look good, and have to put a little cushion there!) great design for them for their imperfect proportion (shorter legs + tummy).

Oh.. I also have to mention about ikebana, how wonderful the Japanese flower arrangement styles are!

Japanese painting, pottery, .... Onsen yeah.. Onsen is great!!! And many other things and beautiful places, sakura, momiji...!

I've been to Kyoto, Nara, Kagoshima, Nagasaki, Kurashiki, Himeji,Otaru, Kamakura, Matsuyama, Okayama, Hiroshima, Osaka, Tokyo, Nikko, Yokohama, ...and still want to go to many many places like Sendai, Aomori, Akita, Tottori, Okinawa... etc.

Endless ....!

I love Japan because it's the best place to visit for a dose of the futuristic and traditional at the same time. The technology is amazing, the busy streets and flashing lights make you feel alive, and yet the culture is very stable and centered. I also love all the silly & graphic packaging....the snack foods and pop culture is so fun. There's an air in Japan no matter where abouts you travel...you really feel energized and yet spiritualy centered.

cuddly_lez85
They have great lifestyles and live long lives there.
Plus Japan has some of the best public transportation in the world.

Because it's a nice, clean, organized, safe and modern country. There are trains and subways for transportation so you don't have to worry about a car. The technology is so advanced also.

Because of everything Japan has to offer. Everything is clean, all cities, even major cities are safe, unlike the States. Their food is fresh and yummi, people are nice, respectful, kind and helpful. Technology in Japan is like our sci-fi, transportation is great and efficient, beautiful gardens, amazing architecture, they love foreigners and the list goes on and on... pretty much the best country in the world.

Looking for the truth...
Because it is now my home.
