People who wear expensive items and brag about it are "jakun". It means that they never had it before. People who are used to wearing expensive items don't usually act that way because everybody knows it and besides, no matter how expensive your items are, if you cannot carry it with class and originality, there's no point. You need class to carry it otherwise people think that you're carrying fakes.

A braggart is a person who brags or points out what they have/what designer they are wearing to someone. If you are have expensive items, but don't discuss it, you are not a braggart.

Yeah, i agree with candance... If you didnt show off or talk about it then youre not a braggart...

It is definitely all right to wear expensive / branded items if you can afford them as long as you don't give negative remarks about cheaper stuffs or those who use them. Let the others say whatever they like, they are probably jealous.

However if you could hardly afford them but keep insisting on wearing / buying expensive items and complain about cheap stuff then you can't blame people for calling you a braggart.

To alleviate your problem, sometimes, just give some nice compliments on those cheaper stuffs or to those who use them. This will make people around you feel that you do appreciate cheaper things and not only craving for branded items all the time. I am sure giving some nice compliments won't be hard for you to do. Right ?

and i agree with Candice too. There's nothing wrong with Gucci suit or original CK spender as long as you don't show off and brag about em. Modesty is the best policy.

whether or not if a person can afford wearing expensive stuff, whether he/she bought it from her own money or ask others to buy it for them, it's wrong for the other person to tell them they're braggarts. we cannot be judged by how expensive or how cheap we look. For ppl to do that, they are judgemental and i dont like the judgementals
