Why does a fruit with 'duri' called durian,with 'rambut' called rambutan but an orange is not called orangutan

Well, in Malay, it doesn't make sense because it can't be orenutan! [lol]

In English, well it's not orangutan because the orangutan was discovered first and some fellow probably thought it looked like an orang-hutan so named it orangutan. They could possibly take the name orangutan and use it for the orange so....alright, i give up. I'm just rambling pointless things.. haha sorry.
