hehe.. the first yapper ever who showed common sense and brave enough to "speak out". bravo, buttgirl! educated people are decent and respectable. if someone "failed" to show "respect" for others, pride will prevail and discord will continue. these scenario that happens everyday reflects how Filipinos deal with others when provoke. this is like "revenge" for people who they think did them wrong but reflects poorly on their way of thinking.

i have so far only asked 4 qs on YAP & 3 of those are well in line with this question of yours. for i myself is a relatively new yapper & have at times cringe at some of the language & the attitudes i encounter in here.

& i am also fearful of the poor reflection on yappers, in pinoys & the philippines in general. especially if all we see are questions of a sexual & racial nature, as well as questions that are nothing more than personal attacks.

if we as a whole will just stop patronizing troll questions & maybe even report abuses as we see it, which i will start to do regularly now, then mabe YAP can be a better place.

& let us do our share to promote goodwill among yappers & prevent turning off new yappers & visitors to YAP.

& at least let us all be civilized about our individual differences. but that is not to say that we cannot have fun once in while as well, but let us play fair & within the guidelines. let us at least be pinoys or yappers of integrity.

Well said Buttgirl!! This is what happened when you have a bunch of losers who failed in real life and considered as a reject.. This is what they learn, cheating, lying and trying to humiliate and intimidate decent people who are here to either gain knowledge,interact with one another or simply to have some fun.
This is where the trolls try to accomplish something by gaining points that would give them that little edge and sense of winning. This is where there comfort and safety zone,right here!!

Although I admit that now and then, out of exasperation, I am guilty of dropping stinging words or names, I believe that there are more relevant topics wherein we can all share bright, funny and witty ideas - and doing it all in the spirit of fun and positively helping promote the Philippines.

I'm afraid the answer lies in their sheer determination to make this section their habitat where they can breed and bring chaos to an otherwise helpful community of legitimate users. Either that or they are just playing the numbers game - i.e., setting up questions so their select people can be chosen as BA. Did you see the sudden appearance of so many TCs among them all at once??? Both cases are, of course, violations of yahoo guidelines.

Maybe in my case ignorance is bliss because I have no idea what's going on. I just want to answer those questions that make sense to me, that's all.

maybe the best thing to do is to just ignore them. or better yet, just answer questions in the YA home, choose "USA questions only". thats what i have been doing since i found out what these "wells" thingies are. i'm glad i found out early enough. i like to help people with honest to goodness questions. there are a lot of young confused teens out there who need help. sorry, no offense meant, but i don't like to waste my time on people who are here just for fun.

I will just say that let us stop all the trolls here. Too many to mention, hate to well, bini, felicity, allan, PT, big c and many more. It creates more harm than good. It will not stop as, it seems, nobody wants to lie low for a long time.

It peeves me to, that whenever I log on to YAP, it's almost as if the entire first page of questions are unrelated questions from trolls who hope to stir up chaos in YAP. They are doing nothing to help foster the friendly, healthy community of helpful people and answers that attracted me enough to start on YAP to begin with.

It is more important to them to ask questions and alternately select each other's answers as best to earn points. And I believe that YAP is more than the points you earn, or how many people like/dislike you, but how many people you could help with your personal opinions and the things you know. These trolls do not see it that way. They seem to get off from the high of posting controversial questions just to incite ire from the regular answerers here.

I really hope we can somehow put a stop to this all. If we do, we can restore the helpful atmosphere that all sincere YAPsters strive to keep.

I agree, it's soooo annoying, waste of my time. It's just a points game for this "individual". We can report it, but "it" will pop-out as another "well". Ignore it, maybe that will cure "it's" ADS (attention deficit syndrome).

I fully agree with you Buttgirl.
When these clones first appeared I thought that they were quite funny and it was good to see WELL get his pompous seat dented but it is now getting somewhat tedious.
WELL has to realise that he cannot continue accusing 20+ yappers of conspiring against him, cheating, lying and stealing and not expect some backlash.
Have a look at his answer he starts off, dare I say it, sounding human and then proceeds to put the boot in what do you expect the others to do. All his answers follow this same routine.

I think that only WELL can stop this--he needs to change his ways. If he does it may bring about an uneasy peace but at least it will be a peace.

All this mention of e-mails etc of a conspiracy does sound intriguing so I call on both WELL AND EEZY JEX to forward me some of these alleged e-mails. I patiently await your response.
WINDBLOWN I do not hate WELL BUT I will admit to disliking his attitude.

The authenticity of the above e-mail is probablly correct but is unacceptable 'proof' of origionality--I need to see the entire email content.

Well... actually tells me thru email that he was stripped from being a top contributor. He even mention that bini, lush and someone that they were not fitted by that title.

So, in my own observation, Well got envy. So he make trolls for himself so that those trolls could vote him for an easy 10points. In a few days, there he was back on the orange box with some of his trolls.

To the contrary buttgirl, you are not being emotional; you are making a very sound observation and it is quite remarkable. Hooray for sanity.

Conversely, it is the others here who are being very emotional, often overstepping into the realm of irrationality, with their endless pointless attempts to dislodge my account from YAP. Personally I find it funny that some 20+ individuals here have been explicitly conspiring (through email and YM sessions) for the past 6 months or so to "get rid of me". So far they have failed. Primarily because I am innocent of the misdeeds they are so hellbent on pinning on me. I am innocent. Yahoo knows so. Hence I shall continue to remain here.

On a grander scale, you are absolutely correct. Their overreactions to my answers here reflect terribly on the non-Filipinos who frequent this site. In the end, the pinoy loses face and respect solely on the basis of their wanton attempts to troll my main identity and otherwise make very uncivilized attempts to insult me. Surely by now my trolls, you can see these actions and words faze me not so why keep doing it?
