Because you're different than the rest of us, and as long as you look Caucasian then for sure, mostly here in the Philippines will surely take notice of you, no matter how ugly you are in the US or EUROPE.

and Filipino girls have the mentality of "If I get to be pregnant, I would surely pick this Caucasian guy - for our kids to look like one"

;) but I am not saying all of them. you probably should go to other places here in the Philippines. Go to Makati, Ortigas.. those places, they would surely make you feel ugly.

Ya oooooookkkkk...Sorry I think your conceded and trying to fish for compliments. Why would you even ask a question on "why is everyone staring at me and they keep say I'm handsome". First off if they said your handsome then why ask the question if you already know the answer? OMG that is so obvious you want compliments on why. Get off your high horse already. Also I don't know why people ask this question when they won't even post a picture of themselves(not that I want to see your face either because I can care less but it only makes sense on this type of question). If they do post a picture we can clarify it for you and then we'll tell you why.

Another thing, in my opinion..
I think you should just let them wave at you, people are kind of "domino" at times, if one waves at you, everyone will follow but if none wave, no one will wave at all. Just get use to it and think that they are not making fun of you or whatever, it's just "nothing" really.

man, you're just different and most of the people here just likes someone new especially if the person is from other country...i also have a canadian friend and those girls from the remote was really trying to make friends with him but thinks they really don't have the guts that's why they can only smile at you rather than approach you..actually people who have a light skin was very much appreciated here in the philippines that's why if you can notice there are lots of skin whitening products here...

this is probably true in the province, but not in big cities, such as Manila, Baguio, Angeles, and Cebu... Americans/Europeans/Australians have been flocking to live/have vacations often in these big cities in the Philippines, and it is normal seeing them around... that would be the situation in big cities...

in the province, especially in the remote ones, they rarely see white people there, and they still have this colonial mentality that whites are superior and richer...

Is this distressing you? I would hope not. We were there in '04 and visited many Philippine locations, from Baguio in the mountains of Luzon to Cebu (2nd largest city) in the south, as well as Iloilo and Boracay, the world famous resort island. Everywhere we went people were friendly and hospitable. About 90% of everyone there speaks English, with varying degrees of fluency. The Pinoy are very friendly and will use any excuse to chat with you. Perhaps it is because they want a chance to perfect their English. We are going back there next year and can hardly wait.

Because they don't normally see you everyday. Let say for example, I go to Europe or USA people there they don't see Asian Ladies everyday in their life so they find me very attractive because of my skin. That is what happen when you are in Philippines and maybe you are a good looking guy and they find you very attractive but we don't worship the White people, we just find you attractive and very interested person.

hey man, this happens to me all the time especially when i go home to the Fill every time i go home there.. It all starts in the airport then on the plane. Since I'm Filipino, quarter spanish and quarter chinese, since my mom is half Filipino chines and my dad is half filipino and half spanish. I think its because we are different from then. I have a tall nose, a good skin complexion and I'm taller than my cousins there. They are really nice but i don't really get close to some girls who bitchy 'cuz my pure Filipino friend told me that they want to be your bf so that they can go to your country(USA) but I'm from the UK now and some says that they only like you for your money. I know it may sound rude and offending but i have encountered this already. And those Gays that you mentioned above really cracked me up, hahaha lolls. It happens to me all the time and its really annoying, but since it happens all the time, i get used to it. Dude, get used to it! Your famous! hahaha lolls.. =]

Your long bridged nose and Caucasian features are considered handsome by the girls especially in the provinces.. Don't worry, it happens to local good looking Filipinos too.. Most people are used to seeing middle aged to old white guys so a teenage caucasian really looks attractive to those girls and gay dudes.. Don't get annoyed but rather cherish it.. Just be friendly and make that to your advantage.. Not that I know

Just remember that most popular actors and actresses now have mixed bloods.. As long as you maintain that you are Filipino despite how you look and how many generation ago the bloodline started, then you are okay to Filipinos.. Other than that, you look different..
