What you mentioned does not apply to Malay men only but generally all Asians, men or women have the perception that caucasians are more superior than they themselves. About marriage, yes they may want to marry whites but i doubt many would be able to and eventually marry their Asians partners.

One of the reason is that white woman require higher maintenance cost, thus this translate into more disposable income view, ie rich man. Because, white women would not settle for anything less that what they feel they deserve as they know their right.

malay men lack looks and brains.... they marry the white to produce better looking and smart(or english- speaking) kids....so that they will be respected in the society....

I think ethnic men feel a higher sense of social status when they are with a white woman. It's not right, but it's the way it is.
