Yes to feel the sensation more intensely and to concentrate on that and not your surroundings. We close our eyes and we are immediately in our "own little world."
It's more romantic that way.

you have to close your eyes or else you go cross-eyed staring at your kissing partner. it's automatic to close the eyes when kissing. i tried once or twice to open my eyes and it's difficult to keep them open. =D

Think about it, when you smell your favorite food you will often close your eyes and say ....MMMMMMMMM...
This communicates to others that you like the smell..... anticipate enjoying the impending meal.
Closing your eyes when being kissed is a way of communicating your pleasure in the experience. Eyes open on the other hand would communicate less emotional involvement.

a guy told me that most men are more likely to rely on visual. so some guys dont close their eyes,looking at their partner's face..making them more horny,etc.. but with girls,its a different thing. because girls rely on their feelings.

Our eyes are not used to looking at objects that close so if you dont close it you get crossed eyed.

I think its more of an instict. Guys (or gals) who don't, in my opinion, has some reservation on their kissing partner. maybe to look whether the other is looking as well.

Well, kiss is still better when you are not looking.
