It depends on what is ending... or who is saying goodbye to whom...
Endings can be at times painful but they also signify a new beginning, a fresh start... When something that has tied us up for a long time is about to end, the release is of course a welcome relief. Endings can also be sweet if they herald the start of a new chapter in one's life, say finishing one's studies and beginning a career in the real world.
But I hate goodbyes from loved ones. They're never easy but inevitable so in the past years, I learned to just accept goodbyes and move on.
Welcome back. :) |

It's in our primordial glands.
As they say, faith is the belief in something that cannot be seen.
Our instincts say "The end of the human race is about to come" and our glands are activated to enjoy the view much as we can, because we know something else is coming, the dawn of a new age perhaps.
So, would you prefer gills or wings? |

I don't think it is sweet when something is ending. My view is that if something finishes that you care about then the overwhelming emotion would be sadness.Sorry to disagree with you. |

I don't know...but I've often heard that when something's ending it is always on a sour or bitter note. Maybe this is an exception to what usually happens. |
