Filipinos are known for our HOSPITALITY - FIL are hospitable by nature. The problem is most of them are hospitable or nice to foreigners only , and have CRAB mentality towards their fellow Filipinos. This explains why our country never prosper! Look at CHINA, chinese people help their fellow Countrymen.... but Filipinos - never!! ? Any objections?

I have found most Filipino's to be friendly and hospitable. I have never paid them to be so. I would say it haS a lot to do with their culture and the way they were brought up.

Then on the other hand you have a very small per centage of Filipino's who would not know the meaning of a simple word like "nice" I call them FILAMUSA'S. These people try to destroy everything that is good in the Phils. by their rascist and cruel remarks. They are jealous of any one who has done better than themselves and look down on any one who is down and out.

I just want to address the answer the guy from San del whitey wherever andthe Fil AM punk-----I feel that there is a lot of racism in the Philippines--first of all the original people in the Philipppines were BLACK--your ancestors were black idiot. So since you feel you are white, ask yourself why you are never welcome or treated as an equal to by white people. It is because they see you as black--your skin is darker than their skin--so you are just a another rat in the game buddy--a black rat at that. SO relax and enjoy the life .....if you were white(I know you wanna be) then you also would hate dark skinned people--like the Filipinos from Mindanao and norther Luzon, Nuevea Ecijas,Talisay etc....so get real ,punk----racism is perpetuated by people like you

Filipinos were born and raised that way. if you look back at our history, none of the wars philippines was involved were started by filipinos, they were provoked or they defended their freedom.

in my experience, my parents brought us up with respect to whoever, what kind, and race a person is. so to say that filipinos are only friendly with those with money is so wrong. for example, howcome celebrities in america, and other parts of the world for that matter, get special treatment? that's just the way it is and to single-out filipinos again is so typical of racists out there.

Just for money. We aren't very nice to poor people. White people pay us well for being friendly. Poor people don't have anything so why should we go out of our way to being nice to them?
