The link you post only says Malay means hill. Why do you add jungle? I guess nothing wrong with the name ppl of the hill. Rich and upper class ppl live on top of hills, like Beverly Hills. Even Chinese people always want to be buried on top of hills and they believe the higher the burial place, the higher your status.

That means maybe the Tamils who name the Malays long time ago look up at them....idk...

What your point?
What matters the most is to look at the future & be prepared to upgrade to the new technologies & modernization not the past and try to relive it.
It's good to look at the history and to learn NOT to repeat the same mistakes instead to criticize and to condemn this and that.

Even till now majority of Malaysia consist of jungles. So what's your point?

As for BM, well you don't expect us to read & write in Arabic do you?
It's about compatibility.
Even Chinese can opt to write & learn Chinese Pinyin instead of writing Ideograms. I don't need to learn Ideograms in order to understand Chinese or even Japanese.

As for the part terrorist, whenever one country bombed/attack another country that country is considered as a terrorist automatically. Thus if you keep on living in the past then automatically labels like communist, nazi, terrorist & etc. will always stick to your head.

Ya lor, Malay only means hill as per link you posted. Malaiur means hilltown, so we are ppl of hilltown and town is not jungle. A town is a civilised place, and hill is a high place. So, Malaiur (allegedly the origin of the word Melayu) can also mean that a high civilised place, and Melayu then is a high ranked civilised ppl. My logic la.
