'Stealing' petrol is not a new crime in Malaysia ... if you look closely at the petrol stations, there are some with the registration vehicles blacklisted ... these are the fellas who fill the vehicles and then cabut without paying ... I think we will see more of this ....

As for sucking the petrol from another vehicle, I would'nt be surprised ... soon, there will be a gadget in market that can facilitate this 'stealing' ... u know, in the black market ... like the cloned Astro decorder .... lol

Anyhow, some ingenious person will then market a lockable fuel tank lid ... or a sensor to detect if people is stealing your petrol or diesel .... then people will rush to buy these gadgets ... and the design keep improving ... like your car alarm ... lol .... so no end to these things ....

I hate to admit, it is already becoming a problem here in Singapore, And yes it will happen in Malaysia too if the price keeps on going up. Don`t forget the chain reaction it will bring to other food essentials.

It is happening in the US. People are going under the vehicle and puncturing the tank. SUVs are the prime targets because their tanks are easier to access and hold more fuel.

The government is stealing from the people every single day so at times like these, I don't blame the people for stealing back. Let's give the enforcement people something to do and a great big headache to the people up there.
