all stars burn out eventually so yes it inevitable but that won't happen for billions of years but the good newsis humanity will be extinct long before that happens. |

The world (Earth) will because the sun is expanding. So in about 4 billion years it will surround the Earth. But, don't worry the heat will evaporate all the water on earth making it inhabitable much before then. |

Fact is, what are you doing in the meantime with your time spent here in the present? |

some say that the earth and the universe will die, some say never but i am not certain.
the earth would die if we won't take good care of it. if we continue to pollute the air and he water and if we continue to use harmful chemicals then the earth would suffer and will eventually die.... and we would die too =( i hope that would never happened =( |

what do you mean will die? |

The Universe is in constant creation and destruction, like life, there is birth and death and with death there is rebirth. The probability that the world would die is more eminent due to man made catastrophy like war and global warming which is killing the ecosystems necessary to sustain life on earth. And since earth is her own lifeform, it can slip into iceage killing everybody and everything, like an induce coma, and then regenerate again.
The Universe will die but it will take more than 10,000 x 10,000 lifetimes before it does. They say that what holds the Universe is Dark Energy and Dark Matter, it continues to expand and as it expands one galaxy is farther than the other and the systems are farther than their sun, which could happen also to the Milkyway where our solar system is located. Earth could one day be too far from the sun to sustain life as we know it and it might die and icy death, and perhaps evolve another form of life.
Should we be concerned, with the Earth yes. We all know for a fact that Trees gives out oxygen an takes in Carbon dioxide, but be don't just chop a tree, we do it by the Acre per hour. We expell CO2 faster than the world could process, and in turn we are bleaching the corals, changing the weather and making a huge mess in gigantic proportions. The orginary shovel is now a mamoth excavator. All for progress, and soon all we have is progress with no planet to sustain life.
Human is no longer an inhabitant of the world, it becomes a force of nature, so destructive that the world might put a toll on us all. |

The world's got a few good billion years left before the sun packs it in (it may or may not be destroyed, but will certainly be burned to a crisp when the sun goes through the Fat Red Bastard stage of its lifecycle).
The universe will go much, much later, but we're not totally sure how. Some folks think it'll keep on expanding and tear apart like a bikini in a hentai movie, others think it'll suddenly change its mind about the whole expansion thing and collapse all of a sudden. Most likely, entropy will cause everything to get old and tired and cold until nothing ever happens anymore. We'd call that heat-death. |

God created the world, the universe. i believe what the bible says that there will be no total destruction. but let's also listen to what scientists are saying. let's not destroy the world with our irresponsible use of our environment and resources. let nature take its own course. and let God do his divine will. |

This is actually a good question. There is an actual answer, well a theory that scientists think will eventually happen. Our solar system was created by exploding stars, and black holes. They predict that 100000 years from now it is likely that another black hole will happen and eat our solar system and birth a new one. I did some reading on it. Very interesting. |

well i think that at the rate that everything is going, we the humans might end the world[if its possible which i think so.] global warming, but idk about the universe, sorry :[ |

yes earth will die in a few billion years because of the sun burning out but the universe no, its a proven fact that the universe is expanding
dont feel down we are all one |

The world will die before the universe, when the sun expands, and devours our little planet.
The universe will end, I don't think even the scientist know that. But since it's expanding at an accelerating rate, when the forces cannot hold it together anymore whenever that might be. |

We can slower down global warming, but we can't really stop it. in next 100 years temperature gonna rise 6 more degrees, which is catastrophic for the planet earth. There will be no fresh water, because ice caps gonna melt and join the ocean, which will make oceans less salty, which will result in death of sea creatures. No see food, no food for other animals. Some parts of the planet will be too dry to live there. This changes in the planet will give perfect opportunity for mosquito to spread and they gonna spread different disease and people gonna be infected and start to die. Rather than that people gonna die because they won't have fresh water, it's gonna be too hot and no food. So global warming will clean up planet's surface to reborn over again, like it was millions of year ago. However i don't think that universe can die. Universe is just open space with stars, comets, meteorites and planets. |

Based on the Bible, the answer seems to point to the affirmative of your question. As to when, even Jesus Christ does not know the exact date. He says only his Father, the Creator, knows.
As for why, I don't have the faintest idea. The world got taken out before by water in Noah's great floods. There were ancient cities obliterated before by sulfur and "fire from heaven". By these incidents in the book I mentioned, seems the reason was God wanted to do some house cleaning. As for the final holocaust which involves the melting away of the sky, it could be to make way for the New Jerusalem, or the new world where there is no need for fear death, tears, hunger, the lot.
Theoretically, there would be no more jerks in that peaceful place. But if that is the case, it means I won't be there! Jeez! Just my bad luck! |

If you believe in God (Jesus), then you'll know the answer is no. The world is going to be heaven once it is destroyed by the rapture. (According to the Bible). And you can tell when the time is getting closer because there are more murders, robberies, etc. (Also, according to the Bible). |

Actually, the present world and universe will not die. It will remain as is however, there will be changes that God will allow. Revelation 21:1-3 says:
21:1 -
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.
21:2 -
And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband;
21:3 -
and I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling of God is with men. He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself will be with them.
Despite mankind's greed and lust, despite its disastrous inventions that will annihilate humankind, God will not allow such magnitude of destruction to prevail. Before those things continue to happen, God will in all His might and glory, intervene and put a stop to them. That is the day when God will come to judge all men, living and the dead, of their deeds. And the day when there is no heaven, no earth for God Himself will live among the people. |
