I have moments that I love people all around me, but then I have moments where I need to be alone too. Having to be in the crowd all the time can be stressful and it robs a person of the time to be still and meditate on life. With God, we are never all alone. And the quiet and still that comes with being alone induces health a peace of mind. I would have to go 50/50 on the answer for that question because I also love those who make up my crowd. Wouldn't want 100% of either. We all need our own amount of space.

it depends on my mood. if my being a pensive loner kicks in, i want to be alone with myself and my thoughts.

if i am feeling sociable or in my "party" mode, i like to be with my friends and hang out with them - catching up on each other's lives or pigging out. lol

I am alone, but not by choice. More like thrown in solitary confinement.

Whenever I get paroled in the Philippines, I make it a point to stay with the crowd, just watching people. Kids playing. Lovers petting. Thieves spotting their mark. Cops marking the thieves. Etc.

Being alone is good sometimes when you are trying to find yourself and all that jazz.
Being in a crowd is better.

Crowds don't intimidate me but still I prefer my quiet moments alone. But living with my boisterous cousin (Inday) is like being in a rowdy crowd all the time. geezz, her laughter is deafening! and at such late hours of the night!!!
