I didn't lose money. I won! I won 250, recently on a 1$ ticket. No, you don't always win, but I don't play all my paycheck away, either. |

They are hoping to strike it rich. They are hoping they are lucky enough to hit the big winnings so they don't have to work. I think if some of those people would put the money they spend on lottery tickets every week into a savings account than by the time the hit fifty they will probably have a million dollars. |

cause i figure if i have lost on the last 50 tickets, there is no way i can lose on the next one i buy, i gotta win sometime!! but with my luck so far i'll probaly win $3 to use towards another lottery ticket, then i'll lose and this vicious cycle will start all over again! |

Because you can get lucky and actually win. Someone that lived in my neighborhood won the lottery. I once bought a ticket for mega millions and I didn't win but the next day those same numbers came out on the Texas Lotto. Made me mad that I never got the Texas lotto because I got greedy and wanted to win the big bucks. |
