YAPPERS: what's your main reason for blocking users?

My reasons for blocking are as follows:
1/ They are blatantly bad Trolls or Clones,
2/ I suspect that they may be Trolls,
3/ They have blocked me, sort of tit for tat (revenge)
4/ Or, blatant cheaters.

Well, I block them for being a troll or I suspect that are trolls nuisance, racists, and those who blocked me first even I don't know the reason. Maybe they don't like my answers that's why. <*-*>

Well, I haven't blocked anyone yet on Y!A, but if I ever will, that would be because i simply don't like the person.

I have blocked several - when because of their attitude over a number of questions, it becomes obvious that they are trolls. And I also block their clones. If by some chance I discover that I was wrong (and that did happen once), I unblock them. There was one time, I think that it was Binibini had a clone, and with apologies to Binibini, I did NOT block her because she (the clone) was asking reasonable questions without getting anyone upset (I do believe though, that everyone should have their own personality and not have to try to steal someone elses.

Yes Kahlan, reporting is another way, although it can bounce back on you.

I don't block users, I don't know how to and even if I know, I wouldn't do that.

I block users who post malicious content or derogatory remarks. To criticize others is tolerable but to insult people is a different matter. My philosophy is to attack ideas not personalities.

I block the tr0lls to mark them and their posts, so I don't have to waste my time opening their questions.

I don't usually block anyone. I give everyone a chance but if they are rude, obnoxious, vulgar(I really don't like foul language), then I may block them.

i have never blocked any YA user though i have reported some because of their blatant disregard for YA's rules.
