So true, that we have to be mindful of what we say and do and what we let pass by because they can and will hurt other people, specially if they are our loved ones, and that we can never undo the wrong or make up for the lost opportunity.

that's true. we have to think first before doing bad to avoid consequences. we have to be careful on what we are saying it might hurt somebody it's not like a letter we can always delete.

Papa Chuck, I hate to disagree with you esp. on your birthday but your statement is only 75% true. That stone, for instance, it could always be recovered unless it had been thrown to the Philippine Deep. For one thing, a stone is a tangible object and therefore, recoverable --- unlike intangibles - words, occasions and time - which are indeed forever gone once they have been uttered, lost or spent.
