There are times when you need to use your head while there are other times that you need to use your heart. You are the only one who knows which to use. If you use your head, sometimes, you may regret decisions that you make or be on the "safe" side of things. Your heart can get you something what you want and also on the other side, it may hurt you as well. There are consequences to every decision. You just have to know yourself very well, be careful, and then decide. You have to live with the consequences of the decision and this is why you have to know how to use both your head and heart and then live with the consequences. |

I follow what my heart says - it has its own brain. |

Till date, I've never allowed my heart to over-rule what my mind has analysed and decided upon. |

In the battle between reason and emotion, i side with emotion.. ~♥~
I read this somewhere: "Don't try to reason with your heart-or feel with your mind-for, just as the heart knows no logic, the mind can't lead you to your soul." |

My Heart. You're a true person if you let your heart decides for you. Your an ambitious person if you let your mind dictates you. |

If your head tells you one thing and your heart tells you another, before you do anything, decide first whether you have a better head or a better heart... |

On my opinion better to follow your heart. God doesnt look into ones head but into ones heart. |

It depends on the circumstances. When in love and in a straight forward relationship, use your heart and in job or business, use your head. |

on important things, it's a balance of both. i need my head to guide my heart. although when it's trivial i let my heart win. |

my heart had failed me once... I should go with my head now...
and it's true, it really depends on the situation... |

When my head and heart conflict I go with my gut instinct. |

don't let your emotion make the decision.
it's always better to make the wise decision. |

If you give importance to your future and that includes surviving in these difficult times, it means using your brains. This is often the case now when it comes to choosing a marriage partner. It is not because of love but how a man can provide for his wife and his family. Love takes a back seat. The philosophy is that: what does it profit a woman if she gains her love but suffers from hunger? |

Most of the times, I follow my heart. There will be some scenarios though that I followed my mind. It really depends on the situation.
Cheers. |

it really depends on the situation. there is no fixed 'correct' one. sometimes, listen to ur heart, others to ur mind. |

this is the ultimate battle -- it's difficult to balance both...the head sometimes be too analytical whereas the heart could be too emotional. it's been many times that my decisions and choices have come back and kicked me in the butt. so now i try to approach each situation and try to consider both what my heart and my head says and then decide from there what's the best for that situation. |

The reason why sometimes they contradict is maybe because we need to feel pain and adversity or else life becomes meaningless....imagine if everything went our way...just know that no matter how much we mess up...there'll be another opportunity to not do what we did before...pain gives us the certainty that what we did before was definitely wrong...heart always...if it was a mistake - LEARN. the problem with the world is that we have stopped learning and continue to repeat our errors...we don't have to be a part of that |

I guess you must know when listening to head or heart. Often the heart says the right thing. Scientists call it e.q. emotional intelligence. |

i mostly listen to my head, listening to your heart most often than not clouds judgement and common sense. mostly in relationships following your heart means ignoring the hurt you feel just because you love the person even though you are already being taken for granted |
