I won't name 400+ reasons, but I will name 10:

1. Rottnest Island, Western Australia (Where the Wombles of Wimbledon spend their holidays).

2. Melbourne, Victoria (Grand Prix, fine culture, hot chics - whats not to like?)

3. Uluru (Ayres Rock), Northern Territory (the real Sunset strip)

4. Great Barrier Reef, Queensland (great place to take a long walk off a short pier)

5. Coober Pedy, South Australia (Home to Opals and cave dwellers).

6. Great Ocean Road, Victoria (where the roads really do look like the ones in the Automaker Ads)

7. Penguin, Tasmania (where they have Penguin Crossings)

8. Kakadu National Park (mind the crocs chasing Americans)

9. Sydney, New South Wales (seething mass of multiple cultures, party capital of the nation).

10. Canberra, Australian Capital Territory (Where everyone goes around in circles and every corner has a monument or a Museum).
