ADELAIDES HOTTEST DAY IN 70 YEARS- 45.7?

i cannot believe it's this hot... And it's only the beginning of the heatwave.

What have you been doing today and how is the heat affecting you? I was at school and the airconditioner was okay, although i was never cool. It's affecting me by making me not very hungry. So glad the teachers aren't giving us homework!!

Anyone know how long the heatwave will last?

I was OK, I was in air-conditioning in the hills. Shocking, isn't it?

Hope you are all drinking glasses of water . If you feel a headache coming on you could be starting to dehydrate. Oh I feel so sorry for you all . I bet the cold shower feels good. here in QLD it's humid but only about 30.

This heat wave will still be here on Saturday or longer with temps predicted to be 39. While it is 45 in Adelaide spare a thought for those in the Northern parts of SA where the temperature has exceeded 48.

Adelaide's heatwave is supposed to be only a couple of days, like Melbournes...apparently, but you know what the weather people are like, they always screw up. I hope it doesn't last much longer for your sake. Stay cool....
