Australia rocks :)!

Well, I live here (in Australia that is) and can highly recommend it. The weather is very good and the people are very easy going. The other big plus is that because we are so far away from the rest of the world (and their problems) we just do our thing and kepp on keeping on.
Where are looking to go?

hmmmmm, the way to answer this requires the knowledge of where you are from?

Australia is the best place to live in in the world. I've been to the us and I still say we have a better country than anyone. We are friendlier and easy going. There is hardly any religious or racial violence, I said hardly not none. Come for a holiday and see for yourself. Johnno

Perth is the place to start out.

The economy there is booming with a short fall in qualified

nurses.

Work for an agency as wages may be higher.

Good Luck

Jimmy

Australia is a great place to live - great people, weather, job opportunities, natural wonders etc. Nurses are in high demand however is not as well paid as in other countries. They work long hours too.

I have lived here in Melbourne all my life. However, I was born in Queensland - both being beautiful cities. No, we don't bother a soul, infact: everyone is so helpful and friendly. People here really chill and the lifestyle is very laid back. I guess when you live here you really take the whole thing for granted, which is so sad, but having said that, you soon realise how lucky you are when hear of other countries and how much turmoil they experience.
I have attached a link about nursing in Australia.

I'm not sure where you get the idea that Australians "don't bother anyone". We (Australia) were involved in the war in Iraq, we've sent troops to resolve issues in the Solomon Islands and East Timor, and we're often at loggerheads with Indonesia. It's misleading to connect our supposed 'easy-going' attitude with our geo-political standing.

Well You'll love it here. I have about 6 friends who are in Nursing, theres no shortages of jobs here thats for sure. Nurses are in Great demand! PErth has lovely all year round weather, but if you want more exciting stuff try the eastern states. But if you are looking to settle, Definatley try Perth. for a good holiday here, Go to Broome, most Beautiful place ever, espcially for young people!
