Any overnight hiking tracks in Australia?

Hello, I come from Hong Kong.

I would like to have an overnight hike in Australia in October. Can anyone introduce some of the tracks with the following requirements ?

1. around 2-4 days.
2. with a primitive hut to sleep in. (i have no tent)
3. with many waterfalls along the track.

thank you very much !

In Western Australia...just south of Perth is Dwellingup that has quite a few gorgeous overnight - 3 day hiking tracks. No huts though but tents are cheap enough to buy these days...seen them as low as $30. There is also the Bibbulmun Track that stretches almost 100kms from Kalamunda in Perth to Albany. You can walk the whole lot or just do certain parts...it's up to you. There are camping facitlities and huts along the way. Check out the link.

The list would be endless. All I would advise is that you get some good books on the subject , pay particular attention to all the safety precautions you need to take and buy a tent. You may even be able to hire your equipment.
There are huts in the High Country but it would be unwise to rely on them, especially in October, because you may get caught out as the weather is very changeable.
I hope you have a wonderfull time.

Huts will be a problem. There are huts in the Snowy Mountains national park but you should not rely on those. You can buy a lightweight tent, they are not expensive. There are good hiking routes in all States in Australia. Tasmania has Cradle Mountain and Lake St Clair which are very popular. Routes range from easy to difficult. You can get maps of different routes in the capital cities at hiking/skiiing/adventure shops like Paddy Pallins. The State tourist information places will also help. Thare are many national parks in Australia all with hiking trails of various lengths.

October can be very hot. It is not summer yet but I have seen 40°C in western Sydney in October. Be prepared for that and carry plenty of water.

there is a company called cradle huts in tasmania. They allow you to walk with a knowlagble guide through the Cradle mountain national park (i think its called the overland track) and they have huts set up along the way. the guide cooks food and prepares the cabin and it is really eco friendly.. an amazing walk for anyone!!

The Overland Track, Tasmania. You will need warm clothing, good boots and a very warm sleeping bag.

There are many clubs in Australia; just google 'bushwalking'. These will offer cheap walking trips for the cost of a joining fee, and are led by experienced and knowledgable people.

You can also find supported walking tours that cost a lot more, and you will probably have your meals supplied and your equipment transported for you.

In Australia there are plenty of walking trails, but much of our serious walking is done off tracks and in fairly rough country, and so our equipment and techniques are different from those of Europe and America. It's best to go with a group, as conditions can be quite dangerous, but not always obviously so to those who don't live here.
