It depends entirely on where you buy it. Pints are not a common size in Australia but they will cost $5 -$6 or more depending on the beer and the pub.
Each State has its own sizes and terminology.
NSW and ACT. The standard is the schooner which is 15fl oz or three quarters of a pint. This will cost $3.00 to $4.00 depending on the beer and the pub. Some bars will charge $5 for a schooner. The other common size is the middy which is half a pint.
Victoria. The standard is the pot which is the same as a middy although many pubs have schooners. You will also see 7oz glasses in pubs in Victoria.
Queensland. Pots again but they understand schooners and middies.
Northern Territory. All terminologies accepted except South Australian,
SA. a pot or a middy is called a schooner and what is called a schooner elsewhere is called a pint even though it is only three quarters of a pint.
WA and Tasmania. I can't remember the exact terminology but I know they sell schooners and I have managed to buy beer on many occasions so I do something right.

It varies! But make sure they haven't run out of beer.
Oh! Its lonesome away, from your kindred and all,
Round the campfire at night, where the wild dingo's call.
But theres nothing so lonesome, morbid, or drear,
Then to stand at the bar, of a pub with no beer!
