Polifia?

No, instead of email, we put messages in kangaroo pouches and send them off to their destination. |

No, I'm typing this on a typewriter.
Seriously, how backward do you think we are here in Australia? |

Up until last year we were fortunate enough to have one computer machine in every village -- that was until the Great Koala Revolution of 06 when the koala workers revolted and whipped our gumnuts into submission. They then took our computer machines high into the treetops and I ain't seen a gosh darn microchip of one since. In fact I've sent this message on through an electronic platypus named Flapjack - it should reach you by May next year.
Dang those koala buggers, I miss looking at kangaroo porn on teh internetz. |

We only got electricity on last year and most of us are still using Crystal sets with peddle power.
Perhaps your Prime Minister is coming here to help us with all of his "power".
Oops sorry I thought you meant Australia, but you meant Australia, best to ask them.
LFE. In answer to "POLIFIA" answer,The reason Australia Post is so slow because Kangaroos are "one jump" ahead of them. |

Absolutely. I know this guy who knows a girl in one of the towns that have electricity and she uses one all the time, you have to line up for it though. But pretty much everyone in Australia knows someone who either has a computer or has used one before.
We are quite advanced in Australia, for example TV stations are now sending out broadcasts in color (of course you have to have a set capable of playing color) and they're even making phones that aren't even connected to the wall. Wow I can't imagine that.
What's it like where you are? Do you have an education system there that teaches you about the world like we have? |

Wasting your efforts, folks, Americans don't understand sarcasm any more than they understand even the basics about the rest of the world. |

Yes Aussie is very up with technology - the same as America.
Kids in school have computer in their classroom and 99% of them are on the internet.
Not sure on the offical stats but 2/3rd I would say home users have a PC and log onto the net. If they don't have it at home, they use computers and internet for work. |
