Are there any airlines that fly direct from Scotland to Australia?

EMIRATES is the most direct airline, requiring no need to connect with London.

Flights are from Glasgow to Dubai and then onto Australasia and I have heard nothing but very good reports from several people who have flown with them.

Hope this helps

There are no direct flights from Scotland to Australia, transferring in London would be you best option.

Visit the websites of the airports you can travel. They will give you a list of airlines that fly from that airport. You can then check which fly to Oz from Scotland. Also remember that all direct flights will require one fuel stopover. Typically the fuel stopover is for one hour, just long enough to grab a shower in the airport.

I dont believe so.. you need to transit in one of the SE Asia countries.. most common is Singapore to catch either a SIA or Quantas connection.. depends what airline you are using and whether they do cosharing with partner airlines.. would be cheaper then.. best bet is to take a flight out of London direct to Singapore then to Australia..

Nope. There aren't any from London either. All aircraft have to stop somewhere (apart from once they managed it using an adapted Jumbo Jet with virtually nothing but fuel on board from London) usually either Bangkok, Singapore or Kuala Lumpur all of which, by the way, are still 8 or 9 hours from Australia!

No. But there are airlines (Dozens) that can fly from London to Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane with only one stop.

The airlines can stop at Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpor, Singapore, Dubai, Los Angeles Tokyo or Souel.

Heres the airlines to look at

Qantas
Brithish Airways
Singapore Airlines
Virgin Atlantic
Malaysia Airlines
Emirates
American Airlines
United Airlines
Japan Airlines
Korean Air

Thats the lot and with those airlines, you will most likly have to stop in there capital city like with Japan Airlines you would have to stop in Tokyo.

With BA and Qantas, there stops are in Singapore and sometimes Bangkok and Virgin Atlantic stops in Singapore.

Good Luck and go to your travel agent for good deals and that!
