a passport is only needed if you are leaving the country

Penny J
Nope you only need your passport if you leave our fine country. if you are travelling interstate you will just need some valid ID like your photo licence, Proof of Age card, Student ID or valid credit card at the check in.

No, just book your choice of flight online, and turn up at the airport with ID at least 40 minutes before your flight. It's not much different to catching a bus from a large bus terminal, except you have to pass through the metal detectors. You can take one suitcase and one carry-on bag.

Take photo ID with you just in case (necessary at check-in or security checkpoints). If you are using on-line check-in then bring your printed out boarding pass with you.

You won't need a passport unless you are leaving the country (say to New Zealand or other international destination).

No. You don't need a passport. But you DO need proof of ID - a photo ID such as a drivers license is ideal - after all, they want to make sure that the person who is travelling IS YOU.

Laura

No. You only need to have a passport if you are travelling overseas.

Dan
As long as you're NOT leaving the country, you do not need one to travel.

Interstate and intercity travelling does not require a passport but you will need ID.

Have a safe and fun trip!
